and learning are constant driving passions for Dr. Stern,
who has devoted his entire professional career to advancing
education in Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery. He is the Norman
S. and Elizabeth C.A. Hill Professor and Chairman of the Department
of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College
of Medicine and personally oversees the education of Orthopaedic
residents and medical students. As Founder and Co-Director
of the Mary S. Stern Fellowship in Hand Surgery, Dr. Stern
trains and educates Fellows in one of the most highly regarded
specialty programs in the country.
Dr.
Stern serves as a Director of the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery, recent past-president of the American Society for
Surgery of the Hand, and has published countless scientific
articles. In his few spare moments, Dr. Stern can be found
enjoying trout fishing in the mountains of Wyoming. |
