| The
son of an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Kiefhaber knew from an
early age that this was the career path he wished to follow.
He shows the same respect and compassion for patients that
he observed in his father.
Dr. Kiefhaber enjoys teaching the bright and skilled University
of Cincinnati Orthopaedic Surgery residents, The Mary S. Stern
Hand Surgery Fellows and Family Practice residents. He has
contributed to the science of hand surgery through journal
articles, book chapters and presentations at national medical
conferences. Dr. Kiefhaber's special interests include treatment
of elbow and wrist disorders and congenital hand problems
in children.
As
an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University
of Cincinnati and busy hand surgeon, you couldn't exactly
say his head is in the clouds, but given the chance, Dr. Kiefhaber
loves to go flying. |
