Peter J. Stern, M.D.

HSS_PETERJSTERNMDTeaching and learning are constant driving passions for Dr. Stern, who has devoted his entire professional career to advancing education in Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery. He is the Norman S. and Elizabeth C.A. Hill Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  As Founder and Co-Director of the Mary S. Stern Fellowship in Hand Surgery, Dr. Stern trains and educates fellows, residents and medical students.

He is a past-president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and the American Orthopaedic Association.  He is past-chairman of the Orthopaedic Residency Review Committee.
